# Create a New Project

Design your research project together with AI.

**Creating a project in OmicsHorizon is more than filling out a form.**\
AI guides you through a conversation to understand your research goals and help you design the project step by step.

## 1. Designing Your Project Through Conversation

AI will ask you three questions in order. Answer each one to move to the next step.

1. **Project name** Enter a name or topic for your research.
2. **Research Objective** Describe the core question or goal you want to address in this research.
3. **Research Hypothesis** Enter your expected outcome or hypothesis.

You can keep chatting to revise any previous answer at any time.\
Once all three steps are complete, the \[Create project] button will become available.

## 2. Reviewing and Editing Project Information

Once the conversation is complete, click the \[Create project] button. A confirmation screen will appear showing the project information AI has organized from your answers.

You can review and edit the following:

* **Project name**: Up to 200 characters.
* **Research objectives and hypotheses**: Up to 10,000 characters.
* **Research guidelines**: Optional additional instructions for AI to follow during analysis — such as research scope, analysis style, or elements to include or exclude.

If you want to undo your edits and go back to the previous state, click **\[Revert]**.

Project information is used as the baseline for all AI analyses.\
Editing it may change the direction and results of future analyses.

## 3. Completing Project Creation

When you are ready, click **\[Create project]** at the bottom of the confirmation screen.

AI will prepare your project based on the information provided. This may take a moment — please keep the window open until the process is complete.

Once finished, you will be automatically taken to the project home page.

You can create up to **100 projects** per account.\
If you have reached the limit, please delete unused projects before creating a new one.
